Down here in the Far South, we are well into December and enjoying the lighter foods of the sunny season – strawberries, salads and asparagus. We are appreciating the losing of winter pounds. At least that’s my story! How about you?

Seriously, the change of seasons actually means something when the food you eat is a genuine pleasure and when you eat what is in season as we do. Imported fruit out of season is frequently rubbish!
